Cle Delgado (b. 1987, Chiclayo, Peru) lives and works between Chiclayo and New York. She studied Visual Arts with a major in Printmaking at the National School of Fine Arts of Peru.
Her artistic practice lies in the intersections of printmaking, handmade paper, video, installation, and performance to reflect on issues of identity, gender, and the body.
Recent group exhibitions include The rivers that bind us, Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris (2024), Parfois je suis moi, parfois je suis iels, Les Ateliers Blancarde, Marseille (2024), Rio at Dos Mares Gallery, Marseille (2024), Re-Construyendo Refugios at Cultural Center PUCP, Lima (2023), Encuentro de Grabado at Carlos Baca Flor Gallery, Peru (2023), Contemporary Textil Art at Tambo Quirquincho Museum, Bolivia (2022), Poéticas de Papel (2022) and Carga Orgánica (2021) at The Fine Arts Cultural Center of Peru, among others.
Additionally, I have participated as an art director and performer in multidisciplinary projects organized by the PUCP that explore questions about identity, gender and sexual diversity such as Políticas del caminar (2024), Mitá|Mitá (2023) and Cuerpo Intervenido (2015-2023). My work also covers graphic and editorial projects that make visible the trans community and LGBTQIA+ such as UNICXS Project - Trans People for Social Inclusion (2016-2019) and No Tengo Miedo (2015).
